A referral is not required for all services but may be obtained in some circumstances to obtain a rebate from Medicare. If you have a referral from your doctor, please scan and email it. A GP referral is required for TAC services.
If patients wish to obtain a Medicare rebate then a GP Mental Health Care Plan may be obtained through a GP. This provides up to 10 rebated therapy sessions per year. A referral is required initially and then a review referral must be obtained after 6 sessions. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure they have a current referral.
If patients wish to obtain a rebate for an Autism Assessment, they require a Paediatrician referral. This provides up to four.
There are no Medicare rebates for cognitive or learning assessments.
Payment is required on the day of service, via credit card, eftpos or direct deposit. Assessments may be paid in instalments, and a deposit is required to confirm the booking.
